Product Overview#
The YPB05 is an ultra-compact, battery-free Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE 5.0) beacon powered directly by any standard micro USB or USB port. Weighing only 2.0g and measuring 18 × 14 × 6 mm, it is a highly portable, plug-and-play solution.
Since it does not require battery replacements, the YPB05 is ideal for continuous, long-term commercial broadcasting, retail advertising, smart classrooms, and desktop indoor localization. It can be plugged into computers, USB wall plugs, Wi-Fi routers, or portable power banks.

Configuration Guidance#
The parameters of YPB05 (including Tx Power, Broadcast Interval, UUID, Major, and Minor) are configured wirelessly via the BeaconSET+ application:
- Download BeaconSET+ from Google Play or the Apple App Store.
- Ensure your phone’s Bluetooth and Location services are enabled.
- Open the app, scan for the beacon’s MAC address, and click to connect.
- Input the secure default configuration password to unlock and edit parameters.
